Nickel plated aluminium Hand formed and mirror polished
100 x 90 x 85 cm – Edition of 20 + 2 AP
The bold, emerging geometry of the Reverb Chair is the striking new edition of the ever-expressive furniture forms by Brodie Neill. Hand-formed and mirror-polished from sheet aluminium, the single inverted skin evolves to provide function, yet is poised in a sculpturally dynamic pose. The highly reflective surface amplifies the tapering typology through a transition from curvaceous seat into the elliptical vortex of the back stabilizer. Inspired by the reverberation of sound, the Reverb Chair’s membrane flows outward before returning back into itself. Born from the pursuit to push materials to their limits, the fluting form is both seamless in structure as it is in surface.
Hand formed and mirror polished stainless steel rods.
L 100 x H 75 x W 83 cm
Edition of 20
Emerging from a gradation of metal mesh is the lightweight configuration of the Reverb Wire Chair. A further interpretation of the original solid surfaced Reverb Chair, the wireframe sister seat amplifies the vortex feel with flowing contour lines and fixed coordinates. A network of hand-formed and mirror polished stainless steel rods highlight the tapering typology by mapping the expanding geometry of the overall conical form.
Pop is a dynamic table consisting of one seamless ribbon stretching fromeither end to form a configuration of a table with an almost fuse like friction. From the three points of contact the line skims around an orbit to create both form and structure. Conceived digitally and realized through CNC fabrication the Pop table is coated in carbon fibre and finished in a striking electic blue.
Glacier: a cast glass chaise lounge, with sculptural lucidity and elegance. The smooth fluid-like shape consists of a single swooping gesture; an energy captured in pure, optically transparent glass. This once fluid material flows from the central core counterbalancing the outstretched planes of the overall lounge. Hand cast and polished by master craftsmen in the Czech Republic, the glass is annealed and strengthened over an 80 day cooling process.
The lucid chaise longue has a smooth, fluid-like shape consisting of a single, swooping gesture, an energy captured in pure, optically transparent glass. Its name comes from its resemblance to a solid piece of ice suspended in motion.
Edition one of only ten ever made, Glacier is the perfect synergy of design and craftsmanship.

Threefold is a large lighting feature consisting of a single seamless surface rolling and folding in the form of a 3 way mobius strip. Warm light is projected from within the undulations, deflecting downwards from the returning curve before continuing the endless cycle. Hand formed in satin aluminium and finished with a hint of colour, the never-ending form provides soft dramatic light within a striking sculptural centrepiece.

Folded, welded and patinated sheet steel – 63 x 62 x 70 cm – Edition of 8 + 2AP Left and Edition of 8 + 2 AP Right
The Origami Series : the origami chair, an important and early work in the Origami series, examining the abstraction of penetration, folding, layering and juxtaposition, creating a collision of static versus dynamic forces. There is a visual aggression which incites scrutiny of the piece itself. Stimulating a participatory desire to discern the voids within and the space around , a static moment of suspended action, frozen from a manual of folds.

By manipulating the fluidity of forms, the relationship of surfaces, and by challenging our shared expectations that, for example, a chair looks like a chair, the dynamics of the interaction between objects, space, social interaction, formal norms are challenged. This state of suspended belief is achieved through the articulation of movement, the meshing of ground and object, light and shadow, reflection and refraction, as well as the engagement of the space around the object.
The zone of influence encompasses both visual and tactile senses.
SoundForms are conceived as a manifestation of energy giving a visual representation derived from the dynamics of a Wave Length. SoundForms are conceived as a visual or concrete poetry; studies where the visual representation of the “words” conveys an intended meaning or effect.
To a degree, the inspiration is from 20th century Concrete Poetry, works which follow on from elements of Eisenstein, Futurism and Dadaism. Eliminating requirements of a formal rhythmical unit, eliminating metrical patterns which are basic poetic modes, and incorporating visual as well as aural forms the paramount concern is with making an object to be perceived rather than read.
Juxtaposing the realms of function and sculpture, the SoundForm studies are created to question sensory response and perception, both active and passive. SoundForm 1 – Payerne Seating Unit is modeled on an interrupted wave length as a high energy sound burst.
Folded paper ( 16000 chinese newspaper pages ), aluminium frame
Diameter 100 cm
Edition of 10
The light consists of thousands of small folded squares of newspaper that interlock and enable structures to be built and grown, each paper fold based upon the golden section. This technique has origins in ancient chinese craft which the lamp uses to bring it in contemporary design, a process I learnt from the streets of Hong Kong.
Made from 16,000 of old Chinese newspaper, it is the largest item produced using this folding technique.
This series of light sculptures create a poetic play around standard fluorescent tubes. Straight lines and simple loops are exaggerated into geometries that appear to grow out of the wall, floor or ceiling. The slim sections, mirrored forms and highly reflective surfaces explore the tension between the viewer, the objects and the environment they occupy.

The Getty series of designs focus on image, structure and illusion; working with the materials to create dimensions and layers, carefully composing forms that seem as if they carry on into the space freely and indefinitely. When off these pieces simply reflect the environment around but turned on they reveal a new world and dimension beyond from both sides.
When designing a piece out of carbon fibre for Patrick Brillet, Marcus Tremonto decided to celebrate and utilize the best of the material true physical properties, its strengh and lightness. The complexity of curves and required thinness could not be duplicated in any other material while maintaining its ability to support itself completely.
We are working on another monumental hanging light and a table , again keeping in mind these same properties to achieve illusions in form and weight.

HEXALIGHTS is a mass of Hexahedron cubes, paying homage to the designer’s love of structure and architecture. This collection, which explores cartoon imagery employs new printing techniques using color that applied to light transform flat (only 1.5mm thin) imagery into 3-D illusions.
Further pushing illusion through the relation of manipulating 2D and 3D imaging. The Plug Light is an illustration based on origin, with inspiration from French Pop Comics of the 60’s , which so well delineated what was necessary to translate the image ;the suggestion of a solid form through simple line gesture. By manipulating and exaggerating size and form, the work forces the viewer to re-examine, question and consider the surroundings in which it exists as part of the piece, much like a cell in a comic or frame that tells a story.

The piece explores the nature of the material and form making technology in milled foam and carbon skinning. It is a method of convergence ; aligning the digital process with the high and rarefied craft of manual carbon surfacing. This combination achieves an incredible sense of taught dynamic like a technical skin over a vacuum.
Landcape, a large landscape of elements that appear to stretch out through an elastic skin. They suggest rigid deliberate forms that unite as one entity in the process ; always appearing in a state of vertical forming. Made from expanded cellular frp it is deceptively lightweight, durable and modern in its construction ; directly relates to an industrial consumer ‘moulded’ products from bars of chocolate to car bodies.
Fourvoid is a holistic, pure material expression made from corian. It is a seamless construction that dematerializes into white space with a soap like physicality. The voids relate to anatomical interface leaving a liquid organic structure remaining.
More than a piece of jewellery, it is a jewellery adventure that I propose with this project.
This is a unique way of setting your diamond.
Not intended to concurrence the industrial way of setting diamonds, this work on the opposite proposes a way to personalize your piece, to make it your own. Bespoke jewellery and a unique experience.
– The work talks about time, making an instant eternal, setting a diamond in a fraction of a second. High power and velocity is framed and controlled to create fine jewelry. Captured on film and slowed down 10000 times almost annihilates any notion of gravity/physical laws in the process. Diamonds are a token of love. The violence of the act of shooting a diamond with a riffle creating a fine and delicate piece of jewelry.
– Like the tools traditionally used in jewellery making, a riffle is a tool of precision, I have modified it from a tool of destruction to a tool of creation.
– Involvement of the owner of the piece: this is a process-based work where the buyer participates in the creation of the jewel. As he himself presses the trigger to create his jewel, the owner is part of the history of his piece. All the bullets are partly hand made, they are all unique. Different types of settings are proposed in the bullets (4 diamonds pave, 1 solitaire diamond, solitaire with gold granulations) and can be shot into different type of structure. (Ring, earring, pendant depending on how you want to wear your diamond.)
– Like a chrysalis waiting to hatch the bullet is “a jewel to be”.
It contains all the elements to become wearable and is just waiting for the power/energy to be released to transform into a unique diamond jewel in a fraction of a second.
